Soc and Tech reunion

Details of Steve and Annie (Jones as was) camping and caravan site

It's a 4 acre site in the village of Weybread, about 10 miles from Diss, in Norfolk. Here's a Google Earth shot.
Click here for a few snaps of the site from Annie:

The cost would be £2 per person per night, whether in a tent or a caravan. They have around 6 spare tents, 4 of which are family size.
If you'd prefer it, lots of pubs and farmhouses within a few miles offer bed and breakfast at around £60 per room per night.

Here are some pub links:

It would be a good idea to hire a marquee, the last time they did this about 3 years ago it cost £150.

There are trains from London to Diss every 30 minutes, the journey takes 90 minutes, and costs £6 single if you book a month ahead. The only fly in the ointment is weekend maintenance, which doubles the journey back on a Sunday - will this be finished by June???

The toilet 'block' is a bit basic, and Annie is looking at the cost of getting a flashy one for the weekend.

Food: There are 2 nice local pubs, and a good restaurant in the next village. Loads more pubs in Harlesden 3 miles away.
Annie is happy to cook for everyone, but warns it will be simple fare... I've offered to muck in, and I'm sure others would too.

There is space for a bonfire in the evenings, and an above-ground swimming pool (smallish!)
If you want to escape from your fellow Soc & Techers, Southwold and the sea are 30 minutes away, and there is fishing and dinghy sailing on the local lakes. Several ancient monuments nearby, one with a great cafe attached - and a windmill...
